Warranty & Returns
Every camera and lens we supply carries our own 12-month warranty. This page sets out exactly what that means in practice, because a warranty is only worth anything if you can see how it works before you need it.
Three situations
The item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we treat it as DOA: we arrange collection, replace the unit as a priority, and cover carriage in both directions. You are not out of pocket and you are not waiting on a repair.
The item worked and has since developed a manufacturing fault or failed in normal use. We will repair it, replace it, or refund it. We aim to resolve claims within 30 days of receiving the item back.
Because we source stock against your confirmed order rather than holding it, we do not accept returns of correctly supplied goods on a change of mind. This is a business-to-business sale and the consumer right to cancel does not apply. If your requirement is uncertain, tell us before you order and we will build that into the quote.
The process
Send your invoice number and a description of the fault to wyllzworldretail@gmail.com. Photos or a short video help if the fault is visible. Please do not send anything back before we have confirmed the return.
We will tell you which route applies, where to send the item, and how carriage is handled. If it is a DOA we start the replacement straight away rather than waiting for the faulty unit to reach us.
We inspect it and confirm the fault. On a valid claim outside the DOA window, return carriage to us is at your cost and we reimburse reasonable return postage once the claim is upheld. We cover the cost of sending the repaired or replacement item back to you.
We tell you which we are doing and why. The choice between the three is ours, but we will always explain the reasoning, and where a replacement is quicker than a repair that is normally what we do.
Same as the original order: tracked and signature-required, with the tracking number sent to you on dispatch.
The detail
Because we source and import our own stock, your cover comes from us rather than from a manufacturer's UK warranty scheme. In practice that means one point of contact, and a company that wants your repeat order handling the claim. A manufacturer's UK service centre may decline to service the item and refer you back to us, which is exactly what our warranty is there for.
Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, as they apply to business purchases, are unaffected.
Inspect goods on arrival and tell us about any transit damage, shortage or incorrect item within 7 working days of delivery, so we can raise it with the carrier inside their claim window. For outright faults, the 48-hour DOA window above gives you the fastest route.
The full contractual wording sits in our Terms of Sale, sections 8 and 9. This page is the plain-English version of the same thing; where the two differ, the Terms of Sale apply.
