We supply genuine, brand-new cameras and lenses through two channels: an established eBay store for retail buyers, and direct trade supply for businesses buying in volume. Trade is where we're growing, and it's where we put our attention.
How we operate
We're small and we move quickly. Enquiries come to a person, quotes go out inside a working day, and the person who prices your order is the person who sees it delivered. There's no account application, no minimum spend and no procurement portal to fight with.
We hold sourcing relationships rather than a warehouse. That keeps our costs down, and it means we're not limited to whatever happens to be sitting on a shelf — we source against your order.
Where our price comes from
Manufacturers sell the same product in different countries at different prices, each market served by its own regional distributor. We buy that genuine manufacturer product in markets where it's priced more keenly, and import it into the UK ourselves — handling the shipping, the duty and the VAT directly rather than paying a UK distributor to do it.
That's the whole mechanism. The trade calls it parallel import or grey import, and it's a long-established, entirely legitimate way of supplying genuine goods. Cutting out a layer of margin is what makes our price work.
The product itself is identical. Same manufacturer, same factory, same sealed box. What changes is the route it took to reach you — and the price at the end of it.
Warranty
Every camera and lens we supply is covered by our own 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects and failures in normal use.
If something goes wrong, you email us with your invoice number and a description of the fault. We'll repair it, replace it, or refund it where neither is practical. No overseas helpline, no being passed between a distributor and a service centre — you deal directly with the company that sold you the equipment, and we own the problem until it's sorted.
Because we source and import our stock ourselves, that cover comes from us rather than from a manufacturer's UK warranty scheme. In practice it means one point of contact instead of two, and a company that actually wants your repeat order handling the claim. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
The full terms go into your quote in writing before you pay a penny — nothing about the cover is left to be discovered later.
Invoicing
We're not currently VAT registered, so there's no VAT line on our invoices — and nothing for you to reclaim. If you're VAT registered, compare our price against your usual supplier's ex-VAT price. That's the like-for-like number, and it's the one we're setting out to beat.
Every order gets an itemised invoice from WYLLZ WORLD RETAIL LTD with our account details and your own payment reference. Payment is by UK bank transfer. We never ask for payment by gift card, crypto, or "a different account this time" — if you ever receive such a request, it isn't from us.
