1. We do not use cookies

This website sets no cookies of any kind. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social media cookies, and no preference or session cookies. Nothing is stored on your device by us, and nothing about your visit is used to build a profile of you.

Because we set no non-essential cookies, UK law does not require us to ask for your consent, which is why this site has no cookie banner. We would rather not have one and not need one.

2. What we do not do

No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent. We do not measure your visit.
No advertising or retargeting. There are no advertising pixels on this site, and you will not be followed around the internet because you visited us.
No social media tracking. No embedded like buttons, share widgets or tracking scripts.
No accounts. There is nothing to sign in to, so there are no session cookies.

3. Third-party requests your browser still makes

Two things on this site cause your browser to contact another company. Neither sets a cookie, but both mean that company can see your IP address as part of serving the request, so we would rather set them out than leave them unmentioned.

Google Fonts: Our typefaces are served from Google's font servers. Your browser requests the font files and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No cookie is set.
Formspree: Only if you submit our quote form. The form contents are sent to Formspree, which forwards them to us by email. This only happens when you actively submit the form, never on a normal page view.

Our website host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability. That is ordinary server operation rather than tracking, and those logs are not linked to any individual.

4. If this ever changes

If we later add anything that sets cookies, such as analytics, we will update this page, add a proper consent banner, and ask for your permission before setting anything non-essential. We will not quietly start tracking and rely on you not noticing.
